About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate supports the store management team with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, merchandising, and other assigned duties. The role is expected to be performed professionally, courteously, reliably, and with a results-oriented approach. Associates help customers choose appropriate merchandise, maintain the sales floor, support store standards, and assist with operational compliance, loss prevention, and employee training. The standard work week is a minimum of 35 hours and a maximum of 40 hours. The position requires open availability, flexibility to meet business needs, and willingness to work in multiple stores within the assigned district.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and employees.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision and take charge of the store when necessary.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Proven ability to build and work as part of a team, handle responsibility, and understand the needs of the street-lifestyle customer.
Willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships and provide professional, courteous, attentive, honest, and responsive service.
Identify customer needs and offer knowledgeable assistance in selecting merchandise.
Apply basic fashion and trend knowledge to recommend appropriate products while maintaining store standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager in monitoring and identifying issues related to loss or store inconsistencies, helping the store meet shrink goals at or below company plan.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support training employees in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Minimize inventory shrinkage by protecting against shoplifting and internal theft and following loss-prevention and security procedures.
Follow point-of-sale procedures, balance money taken in during assigned shifts, and work with store management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments, potential problems, and information needed for effective management.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
