About The Position

Key Rehab is hiring a full-time Credentialing Specialist for its corporate support staff team in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, or nearby. The role coordinates and manages credentialing and re-credentialing for therapists and behavioral health clinicians in an outpatient setting. It ensures compliance with payer, regulatory, and organizational standards and works with clinical leadership, operations, and the direct billing team to support timely provider enrollment and insurance credentialing.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Two years of credentialing experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience credentialing therapists (PT/OT/SLP) and/or mental health clinicians (LPC/LCSW/Clinical Psychologist).
Previous billing experience in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payer enrollment processes.
Understanding of outpatient therapy and/or behavioral health regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with CAQH, MS Office, and Google products.
Familiarity with insurance verification, HRIS, and electronic medical record software.
Ability to problem-solve and navigate payer-specific challenges.
