About The Position

The Sales Associate provides knowledgeable, attentive, and professional sales support to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role involves engaging customers, identifying their needs, recommending suitable products, and supporting them throughout the sales process. The associate also maintains product knowledge, completes accurate sales orders, communicates with customers by phone and text, and helps keep the showroom organized and professionally presented.

This position is scheduled for 37–38 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pay is $18 per hour.

• Greet and engage customers in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Create a comfortable and positive shopping environment.
• Ask questions to identify customer needs, preferences, and goals.
• Recommend products and solutions that align with customer needs.
• Follow up consistently with clients to build lasting relationships.
• Represent the company with enthusiasm, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of products, industry trends, construction, materials, styles, fabrics, and manufacturer warranties.
• Use product knowledge to educate customers and support informed purchasing decisions.
• Complete sales orders accurately and include detailed information to support customer satisfaction.
• Ensure special-order sales contain required specifications, diagrams, measurements, and customer initials for accurate manufacturer orders.
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Respond to customer text messages through Podium with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and clearly priced.
• Assist with stocking accessories, merchandising displays, and maintaining accurate signage.
• Uphold company standards for the appearance and presentation of the sales floor.
• Follow up with customers after delivery to confirm satisfaction and discuss future projects.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
