About The Position

The Sales Associate provides knowledgeable, attentive, and professional sales support to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role involves identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, maintaining product knowledge, completing accurate sales orders, communicating with customers by phone and text, and keeping the showroom clean, organized, and professionally presented. The position is scheduled for 37–38 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, with one weekday off. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pay is $18 per hour.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of products, industry trends, product construction, materials, styles, fabrics, and manufacturer warranties.
• Use product knowledge to educate customers and support informed purchasing decisions.
• Complete sales orders accurately and with detailed information.
• Ensure special-order sales include the specifications needed for accurate manufacturer orders, including diagrams, measurements, and customer initials.
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Respond to customer text messages through Podium with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom.
• Ensure showroom merchandise is properly displayed and clearly priced.
• Assist with stocking accessories, merchandising displays, and maintaining signage with accurate product information.
• Uphold company appearance and sales-floor presentation standards.
• Follow up with customers after delivery to confirm satisfaction and discuss future projects.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
