About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven Part-Time Sales Associate to build customer relationships and provide a welcoming, positive shopping experience. The associate assists customers with their needs, offers styling guidance, and contributes to sales goals while creating an authentic experience in the store and community. The role also supports merchandising, store operations, and a positive, inclusive team environment.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, maneuvering around the store, handling merchandise, climbing ladders, operating point-of-sale registers and company mobile devices, and lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds; ability to team lift.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers through personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find suitable products and contribute to sales goals while ensuring a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience.
• Develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns in a friendly, solution-oriented manner.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help the store succeed.
