About The Position
A Part-Time Sales Associate helps drive sales and build customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are the most important aspects of the position. The associate also supports shipments, restocking, pricing, visual standards, loss prevention, and keeping the sales floor organized. Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
- Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Display basic fashion and trend knowledge and recommend appropriate merchandise to meet customer needs while maintaining DTLR standards and building relationships.
- Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
- Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
- Comply with company policies.
- Participate in service training and product programs.
- Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size runs are represented according to visual directions.
- Help prevent employee and customer theft.
- Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
- Perform other assigned duties.
