About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven part-time Sales Associate to provide a welcoming and positive shopping experience. The associate builds customer relationships, offers personalized service and styling guidance, and helps customers find products that suit their needs while supporting store sales goals. The role also contributes to merchandise presentation, store operations, and a positive team environment.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, and maneuvering around the store.
• Ability to hang and fold merchandise, climb ladders, operate POS registers and company mobile devices, and occasionally operate a trash compactor where applicable or use a hand truck.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and participate in joint or team lifting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Build connections with customers through personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find suitable products and provide a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience while contributing to sales goals.
• Develop product knowledge to offer informed guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in store operations, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns in a friendly, solution-oriented manner.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support store success.
