About The Position

NORMAN’S, an employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer, is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for its Burlington, New Jersey location. Sales Associates help customers celebrate special occasions and everyday moments by delivering a memorable, genuine customer experience. They contribute to store goals, foster a caring team atmosphere, and serve as an accessible source of product knowledge on the sales floor. The role calls for initiative, teamwork, and excellence throughout the customer experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Strong aptitude for basic math, including percentages and general arithmetic.
Ability to continuously stand and walk; frequently push and pull; occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel, climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Apply the Customer CARE program by connecting genuinely with customers, building relationships, and earning their business while driving retail sales.
Put the customer first in all interactions.
Consistently meet store-specific Crown Rewards enrollment goals.
Learn and efficiently use the register system, provide a pleasant point-of-sale experience, and maintain cash-register accuracy.
Use strong selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and customer satisfaction.
Learn product knowledge for all merchandise and use it when assisting customers.
Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
