About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate helps customers find appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and restocking, follows visual standards, and helps maintain an organized sales environment.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service, perform accurate inventory control, transport merchandise, and maintain the store.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in retail or customer service.

Responsibilities

Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise, maintaining DTLR standards, and building customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Provide customers with a positive, energetic, outgoing impression and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size runs are represented according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
