About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate supports store sales and customer relationships by delivering strong customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role includes daily store functions such as product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate helps customers find appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and replenishment, follows visual standards, and contributes to an organized and welcoming sales environment.

Requirements

Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service, support accurate inventory control, transport merchandise, and maintain the store.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Use fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs by recommending appropriate merchandise, following DTLR standards, and building customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size runs are represented according to visual directions.
Help prevent employee and customer theft.
Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other assigned duties.
