About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you’ll bring energy and enthusiasm to the store and help create enjoyable, memorable shopping experiences for guests. You’ll welcome customers, demonstrate products, share product knowledge, and make personalized recommendations. You’ll also support day-to-day store operations, including restocking shelves and helping the store run smoothly. This is a part-time seasonal position at Historic Charleston.

Requirements

• Availability to work irregular hours, including weekdays, weekends, early evenings, and holidays.
• Enjoy meeting and conversing with people of all ages.
• Enthusiasm for sharing product knowledge and making personalized recommendations.
• A welcoming, positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Ability to remain on your feet and move around the store; occasionally reach, bend, stoop, or crawl.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail, cash handling, merchandising, or customer service.
