About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of products across store departments, adherence to company policies and visual standards, and full promotion of sales and promotions. The associate represents the organization and brand by creating a distinctive customer experience that helps acquire and retain customers. The role also supports daily store operations and promotes merchandise.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers as they enter and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track sales performance.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals and company communications.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational issues to store management.
Attend staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
