Sales Associate - Seasonal (101-03)
About The Position
Noor Staffing Group, representing Hickory Farms, is hiring seasonal Sales Associates to work with Hickory Farms products at its retail locations. The Sales Associate delivers customer service, drives sales, and supports a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and work toward individual and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and high service standards. The role involves assisting customers, maintaining merchandise and store presentation, resolving customer concerns, processing transactions, following cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and complying with safety procedures. Associates contribute to a positive team environment, complete assigned training, follow the dress code, and perform other duties as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager. Local travel to other store locations may be required when additional staffing is needed. This seasonal position is based in a high-traffic retail mall environment, with increased activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees may encounter changing temperatures and weather conditions and occasional hazards. Pay is $13.00–$14.00 per hour. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products. The position is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by applicable law.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform continuous movement, walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 pounds of force occasionally, 25–35 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach customers, providing personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Engage customers and showcase products to drive sales.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and support purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide service that supports customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow company cash-handling and loss-prevention policies.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain safety awareness and follow safety protocols.
- Immediately report injuries, safety hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Contribute to a positive work environment with energy and enthusiasm.
- Follow dress-code standards and wear the provided apron while on duty.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Travel locally to other store locations if additional Sales Associates are needed.
