About The Position

GPM Investments, LLC is hiring a friendly, experienced Sales Associate/Customer Service Team Leader who enjoys delivering 100% customer satisfaction. The role provides customer service, processes sales and returns, handles shift cash procedures, maintains merchandise and food-service supplies, keeps the store clean, and supports training and daily store operations. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly manner, provide fast and efficient service, and thank them.
Process customer sales using an electronic cash register; receive money and give correct change.
Refund cash for returned merchandise and process merchandise exchanges.
Count cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of a shift to assist with shift changes.
Use specialized equipment to process money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales and redemptions.
Check identification for restricted sales.
Check and replenish food-service supplies, including cups, lids, condiments, napkins, straws, and stirrers.
Clean and sanitize equipment used for service or stocking food-service products using the three-sink method.
Clean store areas and equipment, including countertops, microwaves, shelves, floors, windows, cooler doors, restrooms, and parking lots, using proper procedures and materials.
Clean and empty trash containers.
Stock shelves and coolers, rotate and face merchandise, remove damaged or out-of-code products, and price merchandise according to the price book.
Check in vendor deliveries as needed, following company guidelines.
Complete bad merchandise forms.
Order merchandise.
Use current training materials, complete required training evaluations and documents, and provide management with feedback on training programs and materials.
Monitor cash levels and security procedures during the shift to ensure compliance.
Review job assignments for completeness.
Perform other duties as assigned to accommodate store operational needs.
