Seasonal Holiday Sales Associate - University Park Mall
About The Position
Cherry Hill Programs is hiring a seasonal Sales Associate/Photographer to support its Santa photo set at University Park Mall. The role involves welcoming families, engaging with children, taking photographs, and helping guests enjoy a smooth and memorable holiday photo experience. The associate also provides guest service, sells photo souvenirs, operates point-of-sale and photography equipment, and works with the team to keep photo operations safe, clean, and effective. Photography experience is not required. The position requires availability for at least 20 hours per week or as needed, including peak retail periods such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as training meetings and required courses. Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be able to lift and carry equipment weighing 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to process sales transactions and feel comfortable handling cash.
- Maintain professional attire and good hygiene.
- Be available to work at least 20 hours per week or as needed.
- Be flexible to work peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo set experience, ensuring families feel welcomed and cared for.
- Work as a team member to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Engage in a friendly, patient, and festive manner with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and photography equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
- Attend training meetings and complete required courses.
