About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Associate Keyholder role is a part-time position at the Fairlane Town Center store. The associate provides an excellent in-store shopping experience and performs opening and closing procedures. The position involves customer service, sales-floor and stockroom upkeep, checkout transactions, product launches, and supporting customer credit and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists a range of 0–2 years.
• Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Ability to interact with customers and provide customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Collaborative skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures, including balancing registers, preparing deposits, and activating the security system.
• Perform checkout overrides as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout area, fitting room, and stockroom so the store is safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine a resolution or escalate when necessary, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
