About The Position

Batteries Plus is currently searching for a full-time customer-oriented individual at our Goose Creek, SC location. Our Sales Representatives are trained to provide knowledge and offer solutions that differentiate us from the competition, giving a face to the name of our brand. Initial training provides the knowledge needed to effectively identify and sell the correct lightbulb or battery to the customer, along with the proper technique for car battery installation. From there, we train and educate for the services we provide; such as phone repair and technical duties including replacing screens, batteries, and other components on smart phones and tablets, as well as key cutting and reprogramming of key fob remotes. Pay will be increased upon completion of certifications in these areas. We are seeking someone who is looking for a career and is interested in advancement. Requirements

High school diploma/equivalent and 6 months prior work experience in retail required.
Must have a valid drivers license, and your own means of transportation.
Customer service skills and sales oriented with high motivation
Ability to gain a quick and solid understanding of the company's electronic retail and cross-referencing system
Demonstrated technical skill while having the ability to work with small parts and tools for phone and device repair
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 80+ lbs. required

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, assisting them in selecting and purchasing products, while upselling and cross-selling products to maximize sales.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately.
Repair phones, tablets, laptops and more while following training guidelines to ensure the customer's device is repaired to our standards.
Replace car batteries along with cutting keys and programming key fobs, utilizing the company's standard guidelines.
