About The Position

Drybar is a blow dry-only bar focused on providing exceptional blowout services. We are seeking enthusiastic retail sales associates to deliver excellent customer service. In our Bend location, we are looking for Bartenders, also known as Receptionist Extraordinaires. These individuals are responsible for checking clients in and out, serving drinks, answering phones, and assisting stylists with supplies. They are crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the salon, acting as the backbone of Drybar.

Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in a fast paced, customer service centric environment (sales associate, retail sales associate, customer service representative, store associate, salon associate, or a similar position) preferred but not required
• Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems strongly preferred
• Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to work at a sustained, fast pace environment
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Track record in providing over-the-top, amazing customer service!
• Ability to multitask with ease
• Frequently required to stand and/or walk for duration of 6-8 hour long shifts
• Has the technical ability and skills to operate a point of sale system

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems
• Previous salon/spa experience

Responsibilities

• Check clients in and out
• Grab drinks for clients
• Answer phones
• Assist stylists by grabbing supplies and tools
• Ensure the salon runs smoothly
• Provide excellent customer service
• Operate a point of sale system
• Solve problems at the front desk using logic and support resources
• Maintain a professional demeanor under pressure
