Requirements

• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand/walk continuously for all tasks.
• Constant use of both hands.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5 kg, reaching below shoulder level, bending and turning.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending and reaching above shoulder level.
• Constant computer/POS system usage.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts, evenings and weekends (sales assistant may start as early as 6am and finish as late as 9pm).

Nice To Haves

• Relevant retail experience.
• Prior experience of working at COBS or similar fast-paced environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience and build relationships with regular customers.
• Merchandise products and execute marketing campaigns.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness and assist with production as needed.
• Learn baking techniques.
• Handle cash, credit card, and debit transactions.
