About The Position

The Sales Assistant supports the Sales Manager in maintaining existing client accounts and processing orders. This role is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring efficient handling of sales-related communications and documentation. The Sales Assistant will maintain positive relationships with customers and sales representatives, handling inquiries with professionalism and tact. They will build and maintain up-to-date client portfolios and client sites as requested in company ERP systems and folders, and gather and organize site documents for Sales review and project management. The role involves completing requests regarding price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, and cancellations from the Sales Manager, and following up on customer inquiries, including delivery status and pending orders/proposals. The Sales Assistant will also maintain Sales reporting for end-of-day reports to the Operations Manager and Management Team, and weekly reporting to clients on project status. Additionally, they will maintain a weekly/biweekly schedule for house accounts and design reviews for the Sales Manager. Additional responsibilities include completing company orientation and safety training, following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable handling routine tasks that require sound judgment and problem-solving.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales support, customer service, or related role.
  • Equivalent business experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer interaction skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the sign industry is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM and job costing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities
