Thelen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Kia is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Appointment Coordinator to help drive our growing dealership forward. In this role, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for customers interacting with our dealership online and by phone. You’ll connect with potential buyers, build relationships, generate leads through outbound prospecting, and help guide customers toward scheduling appointments with our sales team. Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable making both inbound and outbound calls throughout the day
  • Confidence speaking with customers and building relationships over the phone
  • Ability to talk and type simultaneously while navigating computer systems
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Positive attitude with a strong team mentality
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills required
  • 1 year customer service, sales, call center, or BDC experience required

Nice To Haves

  • CRM experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound internet leads, phone calls, emails, and text messages in a professional and timely manner
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to generate interest, acquire new leads, and schedule appointments
  • Follow up with previous customers, unsold opportunities, and marketing campaigns to create additional sales opportunities
  • Build rapport with customers while identifying their vehicle needs and interests
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales department
  • Maintain accurate customer records and notes within the CRM system
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth customer handoff and exceptional customer experience
  • Help drive dealership traffic by maintaining consistent customer communication and follow-up
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly appointment and lead-generation goals
  • Multitask effectively between calls, emails, texting, CRM updates, and team communication
