BDC Agent
About The Position
Vandergriff Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and customer-focused BDC Agent to join our team in Arlington, TX. As a vital part of our dealership, you will be responsible for engaging with potential and existing customers, managing inquiries, and helping drive sales through excellent communication and organizational skills. This role offers a competitive compensation of $16.00 - $22.00 per hour, paid semi-monthly, with opportunities for growth within a leading automotive company. You will work closely with both the sales and service departments to ensure smooth and efficient customer interactions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a business or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or automotive dealership environment is great but not required.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone presence.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office applications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, team player mindset, and strong work ethic.
- Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online chat.
- Schedule service appointments and test drives while managing customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate customer records and communication logs using dealership CRM software.
- Coordinate with sales and service departments to facilitate smooth customer interactions and resolve issues.
- Promote ongoing dealership specials, finance offers, and service promotions to customers.
- Assist in generating leads and nurturing prospects to support the dealership’s sales goals.
