About The Position

This is an apprenticeship role for individuals who have a strong sales background, particularly in challenging environments like door-to-door sales, and are looking for a career in high-end technology integration. The company sells advanced technology for luxury homes, including home theaters, whole-home audio, and automation systems. The apprenticeship program will provide training on the industry, products, and clients, focusing on building relationships and developing sales skills. The goal is to grow into a full Outside Sales Representative with a significant book of business.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, especially in challenging environments like door-to-door or commission-only sales.
  • Hustle and drive.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling roofing, painting, or pest control door-to-door.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the craft: receive training on products, clients, and how high-end projects are completed.
  • Build relationships with architects, builders, designers, and homeowners.
  • Focus on closing sales, as other teams handle post-sale operations.
  • Manage the sales pipeline by logging leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM.
  • Attend networking, industry, and social events, including a local BNI chapter.
