About The Position

SoundCheck is seeking an Outside Sales Representative with a proven track record of working with discerning, high-end clients. This role focuses on selling advanced technology integration solutions to homeowners and businesses. The primary responsibilities include generating revenue, nurturing client and referral relationships, managing a sales pipeline, and achieving monthly sales targets. The position is based in Lake Orion, MI, and requires an in-person presence.

Requirements

  • Proven career working with discerning, high-end clients.
  • Experience in a residential or commercial technology integration firm.
  • Experience as an Owner's Rep, Architectural Rep, Outside Sales Rep for a high-end product, or Business Development for a trade (electrical, pools, wine rooms, kitchens).
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and log leads, opportunities, and activities in a CRM.
  • Willingness to attend networking, industry, and social events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Referral Network - Cultivate a steady flow of project work from Architects, GCs, Owners’ Reps, Interior Designers, and other adjacent trades.
  • Client Relationships - Land clients, keep them happy, and turn them into a source for more referrals.
  • Close Deals - Revenue is the metric. If an activity doesn’t move money, it’s not yours to worry about — we have Engineers, Project Managers, Installers, Programmers, and Service Techs for everything that happens after the sale.
  • Pipeline Management - Log leads, opportunities, & activities in our CRM
  • Networking - Attend various networking, industry, and social events

Benefits

  • Base salary + Commissions
  • Project Commission = 5% (Or better) of Pre-Tax Gross Sales

  • Year 2: Sales >$2.0M/yr ($160k+ In Comp)
