About The Position
Daikin Applied is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to provide technical expertise on company products to sales representatives. The role guides representatives in selecting and applying business-unit products to meet specific field requirements, implements strategies to position products effectively in the marketplace, and engages with customers to demonstrate the value of the company’s product lines. The position is based in Staunton, Virginia, and is hybrid.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representatives on special applications, systems, and pricing inquiries.
- Process requests for modifications, options, and general information not covered by published pricing.
- Stay informed about new products and competitive models in the marketplace.
- Communicate suggested product or service modifications to meet customer requirements and provide product management with feedback about requirements not met by the current product line.
- Write or contribute to technical literature for internal and field applications.
- Participate in product training for sales representatives and customers.
