About The Position

Nordstrom is hosting a national hiring event for Sales and Support positions at its Beachwood Place store. Applicants may attend at any time during the event for an interview; advance scheduling is not required. Candidates should follow the hiring event signs or ask a Nordstrom employee for directions. A resume is welcome but not required, and applicants should allow approximately one hour for the interview process. On-the-spot offers will be made for most roles. The event is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 26200 Cedar Road, Beachwood, Ohio 44122. Hiring areas include Women's Apparel, Accessories, Kids Apparel, Lingerie, Shoes, Stock & Fulfillment, and Customer Service. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and applicants who cannot attend the event will still have their applications considered. Pay varies by role and location and is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Sales pay is listed at $13.05; Stock, Fulfillment and Delivery and Customer Service pay is listed at $15.75–$16.35. Selling employees may receive commission, with rates varying by merchandise category. The position requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers. Employees frequently use their hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling; handle bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting them overhead; regularly lift items up to 10 pounds; and occasionally lift items up to 25 pounds. Benefits and eligibility may vary based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.

Requirements

Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items overhead.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
