Nordstrom is hiring for Sales and Support positions during their National Hiring Day event on Thursday, June 11th, from 11 am to 5 pm at the Somerset store located at 2850 West Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084. No appointment is necessary; candidates can attend anytime during the event for an interview. On-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%.
The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.

Responsibilities

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
