About The Position

DOTS Sales Associates help achieve Trek’s mission by providing excellent hospitality to customers and getting more people on bikes. They guide customers from arrival through purchase and departure, helping them meet cycling goals, keep bicycles performing as designed, and have great ride experiences. The role includes developing sales and hospitality skills, learning about bicycles and related products, meeting sales targets, and completing store tasks when not serving customers.

Responsibilities

Develop sales and hospitality skills through training, role-playing, and on-the-job experience.
Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets; full-time Sales Associates are expected to reach at least $400,000 per fiscal year.
Learn about bicycles, components, apparel, and technology.
Participate in daily huddles and debriefs.
Use the Guide Sales Process to provide customers with incredible hospitality.
Follow up on quotes and lead-list communications.
Make decisions about customer care and doing what is right for customers.
Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing Trek U modules covering products, services, and procedures.
Complete Daily Task List assignments when not actively serving customers.
Maintain store merchandising according to visual merchandising standards, including product placement, price auditing, and restocking.
Complete weekly cycle counts.
Assemble or pre-assemble new bicycles.
Prepare customer bicycles for service by Service or Production Technicians.
