About The Position

Trek DOTS Sales Associates help achieve Trek’s mission by providing exceptional hospitality and helping more people get on bikes. They guide customers from arrival through purchase, helping them meet their cycling goals, keep their bicycles performing as designed, and have a great riding experience. The role combines customer-facing sales and service preparation with merchandising, inventory, and bicycle assembly tasks. Full-time Sales Associates are expected to achieve individual sales targets of at least $400,000 per fiscal year.

Responsibilities

Develop sales and hospitality skills through training, role-playing, and on-the-job experience.
Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets of at least $400,000 per fiscal year for full-time Sales Associates.
Learn about bikes, components, apparel, and technology.
Participate in daily huddles and debriefs.
Use the Guide Sales Process to provide customers with incredible hospitality.
Follow through on Quotes and Lead List communications.
Make decisions about customer care and doing what is right for customers.
Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing Trek U modules on products, services, and procedures.
Complete Daily Task List assignments when not actively assisting customers.
Maintain store merchandising according to visual merchandising standards, including product placement, price auditing, and restocking.
Complete weekly Cycle Counts.
Assemble or pre-assemble new bicycles.
Prepare customer bikes for service by Service or Production Technicians.
