About The Position
As a Sales Specialist, you'll help customers keep their vehicles running safely while developing the skills needed for a long-term career with Bridgestone Retail Operations. This role is designed as a pathway for future growth, helping you build valuable experience while preparing for additional opportunities across the retail network. Newcomers and candidates with previous retail or automotive experience join a team that provides hands-on training, mentorship, and career development. The role supports exceptional customer service and the day-to-day success of the store.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new systems and operational processes.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or equivalent technical or educational training.
- Previous retail sales experience.
- Previous automotive experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
- Build trust and lasting relationships with customers.
- Recommend automotive products and services based on customer needs.
- Coordinate service appointments and communicate timelines.
- Support merchandising, inventory, and daily store operations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Learn all aspects of store operations and business performance.
- Support store leadership and serve as Manager-on-Duty when appropriate as part of development.
