About The Position

This job is built for closers who gets things done. While many technicians focus on basic treatments, this role is built for someone who can produce revenue and deliver results. This is not just a technician role — it’s for someone who can sell, solve, and service at a high level. Tailor Made Pest & Wildlife is hiring a Sales & Service Technician to run inspections, sell jobs, and complete the work. You are responsible for producing revenue and delivering results. You’ll be in the field daily starting at 7:00 AM, solving real problems for homeowners, learning high-value trade skills, and building a career. No experience is required as the company trains the right person. Tailor Made Pest & Wildlife is a fast-growing company based in Louisville, KY, led by a respected Board Member of the Kentucky Pest Management Association. The company is known for delivering high-level pest and wildlife solutions through exclusion, education, and long-term protection, focusing on solving problems rather than just treating symptoms.

Requirements

Dependable (shows up on time, every day)
Self-starter (doesn’t need constant supervision)
Strong communicator with sales ability
Comfortable working outdoors and with your hands
Physically capable (ladders, roofs, crawlspaces)
Competitive and motivated to earn more
Valid driver’s license

Experience in pest control, construction, roofing, or trades

Responsibilities

Run inspections and identify pest/wildlife issues, entry points, and risks.
Document findings with photos and notes.
Educate customers using a structured approach (problem → risk → solution → protection).
Confidently present and close jobs on-site, offering solutions including exclusion work, wildlife trapping/removal, cleanup and sanitation, and recurring pest control plans.
Follow up on leads and unsold estimates.
Perform all sold work to company standards.
Treat homes for common pests (ants, spiders, roaches, etc.).
Perform exclusion work including sealing homes using metal, hardware cloth, foam, and caulk.
Safely and humanely trap and remove wildlife.
Work on roofs, ladders, and in tight spaces, crawlspaces, and attics.
Deliver a 5-star customer experience, communicating clearly and professionally.
Educate customers on prevention and long-term protection.
