About The Position

The Sales and Service Associate welcomes new members and guides them through the beginning of their fitness journey. The role builds trust-based relationships by listening to members’ goals, understanding their needs, and recommending personalized solutions. Associates combine an interest in fitness with interpersonal skills to create a positive, motivating member experience.

The position delivers sales and service to members and guests, supports new-member onboarding, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained gym. At locations with a Kids’ Club, associates may also be assigned childcare and supervision duties, including check-in and check-out, communicating with parents, administering first aid, and maintaining a clean space. California associates who work in a Kids’ Club must maintain confirmed TrustLine registration.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in retail or fitness sales.
• CPR and AED certification within 60 days of employment.
• Demonstrate authenticity, sincerity, open-mindedness, and integrity.
• Be self-motivated and passionate about helping others, with an interest in learning and personal growth.
• Strive to meet or exceed goals and maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
• Embrace challenges and treat setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow.
• Have a strong service mentality and desire to deliver exceptional member experiences.
• Be available full-time with flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• 12 months of experience working in retail and fitness sales.
• 6–12 months of childcare experience for locations with Kids’ Club.

Responsibilities

• Build first-name relationships with members, answer questions, resolve concerns, and connect members and guests with appropriate resources.
• Help keep the gym clean, well-maintained, and safe.
• Deliver a welcoming, informative, and inclusive sales and service experience to guests and members, and help them take appropriate next steps toward their fitness goals.
• Support new-member onboarding and help members connect with the club’s fitness offerings.
• Greet and check in members and promptly attend to their needs.
• At locations with Kids’ Club, care for and supervise children; manage entry and exit, check-in and check-out; notify parents when involvement is needed; administer first aid; and tidy, clean, and disinfect the space.
• At locations with Kids’ Club, promptly page parents when a child needs a diaper change or restroom assistance and communicate with parents about discipline concerns.
• At California locations with Kids’ Club, complete and maintain TrustLine registration and confirmation before working in Kids’ Club when children are present.
• Travel as needed for training purposes and lead generation.
