About The Position
The Sales and Service Associate welcomes new members and guides them through the beginning of their fitness journey. The role builds trust-based relationships by listening to members' goals, understanding their needs, and recommending personalized solutions to support their fitness success. Associates combine a passion for fitness and strong interpersonal skills to provide a positive, motivating, results-driven member experience. They provide a welcoming and informative experience to members and guests, support new-member onboarding, and help members connect with the club's fitness offerings. They also help maintain a clean, well-maintained, and safe gym environment.
Requirements

- Have a strong service mentality and a desire to deliver exceptional member experiences.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or fitness sales.
- Obtain CPR and AED certification within 60 days of employment.
- Have flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum travel may be required for training and lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Develop first-name relationships with members, answer questions, resolve concerns, and connect members and guests with appropriate resources.
- Help keep the gym clean, well-maintained, and safe for members and guests.
- Deliver an outstanding sales and service experience by providing a welcoming, informative, and inclusive visit and helping guests identify next steps toward their fitness goals.
- Support new-member onboarding and help members connect with fitness offerings through friendly greetings, check-ins, and prompt attention to their needs.
- Participate in applicable Fitness Sales and Membership Sales Commission Plans.
