About The Position

Eastlink is a family-owned, entrepreneurial, and innovative telecommunications company. The Sales and Marketing Manager is a senior leader responsible for developing and executing clearly defined sales, marketing, and communications strategies to support business growth and enhance the brand. This role involves working closely with the national marketing team, retail, and customer care to plan, organize, manage, and deliver on objectives for sales growth, profitability, and visibility in the region. The position requires enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to translate a passion for technology and past sales/marketing success into tangible results.

Requirements

  • A passion for community and knowledge of the Delta territory.
  • Proven ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives within a team approach.
  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing management position.
  • Experience in planning, budgeting, and managing multiple complex priorities.
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings with clients and build strong client relationships.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses, forecasting budgets, and establishing target market share.
  • Proactively identify and manage 'grass roots' marketing and sponsorship activities in high-growth areas.
  • Lead multiple sales teams across diverse sales channels and meet sales targets.
  • Deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment while empowering and developing the team.
