About The Position

The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for assisting The Director of Sales & Marketing, Sales Managers, the Marketing Manager, and the Reservations team. In this role, they will work in collaboration with multiple parts of the hotel to share the Aman New York experience with guests, partners, and internal/external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1-year experience in an Administrative, Front Office, Sales, Marketing position or similar, preferably in a hospitality luxury environment.
  • Proficient in computer skills (including Windows and Mac) necessary to complete any correspondence such as proposals, letters, and office communications.
  • With focus on Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and high-level knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
  • Ability to handle client requests, complaints, and concerns in an efficient, calm, and genuine manner.
  • Able to be organized, manage time wisely, showcase high levels of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English, multi-lingual is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to always maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and push, items, equipment, and packages of up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgement and courteous genuine service with clients and fellow Amansanti’s.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all hotel sales efforts, to include responding to general inquiries and client requests.
  • Liaise with guests, clients and employees on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate and assist with client events, appointments, and site visit preparation.
  • Assist clients in the absence of the Sales Managers.
  • Coordinate with Director of Sales & Marketing on activations, email campaigns, PR releases and marketing efforts impacting all parts of the hotel.
  • Assist reservations team with general inquires and office management.
  • Ability to maintain all files in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Process and maintain all accounting responsibilities for Managers in accordance with established guidelines and standards, including completion of expense reports.
  • Provide main telephone coverage for the sales and marketing office.
  • To perform duties in a timely manner: general correspondence within 24 hours, projects within the specified deadlines.
