About The Position

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator supports the Sales team’s day-to-day operations and marketing efforts to promote one of Dallas’ most iconic landmarks to meeting planners, event producers and industry stakeholders. The person in this role will contribute to the organization’s objectives by working collaboratively with team members to execute programs with excellence.

Requirements

  • High computer proficiency, with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM database systems and cloud-based collaboration tools
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and web content management systems (CMS)
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technology tools and software quickly
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, stakeholders, vendors and clients
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in all aspects of work, from reporting to document creation
  • Team player who works well independently and collaboratively, bringing flexibility, dependability, and accountability to shifting departmental needs
  • Minimum two years of professional office experience, with at least one year directly in a sales support or marketing role
  • Proficiency with core business programs and cloud-based tools (Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Zoom, Adobe Sign) required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in tourism, hospitality, or destination marketing strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Destination-specific systems (Simpleview CRM, Monday.com, Cvent, EventsForce, SendSites, Threshold 360, Mint+, Lexion) is a plus
  • Secondary education or certification in a related field is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Enter, review and assign sales leads accurately and in a timely manner
  • Generate reports, searches, and update data in sales databases
  • Answer inquiries efficiently and professionally with a confident, positive attitude and pleasant personality
  • Create, proof, edit, and deliver accurate, polished proposals, documents and departmental communications, and presentations for the Sales Division
  • Coordinate team meetings and activities including preparing agendas and supporting documents, assisting presenters with their meeting needs
  • Compile and distribute meeting minutes along with follow-up action items
  • Partner with Fair Park management and service teams on client engagement and services for business bookings
  • Support graphic design and production efforts for sales and marketing materials, including collateral, digital campaigns, presentations, and proposals
  • Update Meetings & Events section of Fair Park website in collaboration with the Fair Park team
  • Assist in the production and organization of high-quality photo and video asset library
  • Assist team to develop, implement and maintain a Digital Asset Management system
  • Provide digital marketing support including social content and email marketing efforts
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to established brand standards
  • Assist with coordinating events including but not limited to familiarization tours, travel arrangements, sales calls and tradeshows. Prepare sales kits, gifts, and reservations
  • Obtain and organize needed sales marketing pieces from third-party entities and maintain an organized filing to ensure correct and current data is maintained
  • Support cross-functional marketing needs and special projects as directed
  • Assist in tracking and reporting metrics as needed
  • Foster positive relationships with vendors, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Other tasks as assigned
