About The Position

The Continental Automotive Group is seeking motivated individuals to join their family-owned and operated company. With locations in North/Central Austin and San Juan, TX, the company offers rapid growth, advancement opportunities, paid training, performance reviews, and upward mobility. This role involves serving customers by identifying their needs, presenting vehicles, conducting test drives, and guiding them through the purchase process. The position also requires meticulous attention to detail in paperwork and reporting, as well as a desire to understand and present vehicle financing options. Successful candidates will be able to manage the entire sales experience, from initial greeting to the final signing of purchase documents and presentation of ancillary financial products.

Requirements

  • Prior automotive sales experience is a MUST.
  • Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior luxury experience is preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and buying motivations and pair them with the correct vehicle.
  • Conduct product presentations and perform demonstration drives.
  • Ask customers to purchase the vehicle.
  • Continuously improve vehicle and process knowledge and educate customers on products and processes.
  • Assist customers at initial contact, provide professional follow-up, and assist after the purchase.
  • Track customers through meticulous input of information into the database.
  • Follow up by phone, email, and document all communication.
  • Learn and understand vehicle financing and present financing options to customers.
  • Advance to an elite product specialist capable of managing the entire sales experience.
  • Create purchase agreements, appraisal information, credit applications, and all other documentation.
  • Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal reporting guidelines.
