Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of prior automotive experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication ability.

  • Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and buying motivations to match them with the correct vehicle.
  • Conduct product presentations and perform demonstration drives.
  • Ask customers to purchase the vehicle and overcome obstacles or objections.
  • Continuously improve vehicle and process knowledge.
  • Educate customers on products and processes.
  • Assist customers at initial contact, provide professional follow-up, and assist after the purchase.
  • Track customers through meticulous input of information into the database.
  • Follow up by phone, email, and document all communication.
  • Learn and understand vehicle financing and present financing options to customers.
  • Create purchase agreements, appraisal information, credit applications, and all other documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal reporting guidelines.
