About The Position

Havenpark Communities is seeking a driven Sales & Leasing Agent to join their team. This role is central to the company's mission of making quality, attainable housing a reality for families across America. The Sales & Leasing Agent will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the home-buying and rental process. The position offers a competitive compensation structure with a base salary and a commission program, with the potential for high earners to exceed $100,000 annually. Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales with strong customer service instincts.
  • Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and holds themselves accountable.
  • Sharp math skills and comfort working with figures, payment calculations, and contracts.
  • Detail-oriented and solutions-focused, with a genuine desire to grow.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • A positive, collaborative mindset and openness to coaching and feedback.
  • At least one year of sales experience in a high commission environment preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Market, sell, and rent homes within Havenpark Communities to meet and exceed business targets.
  • Proactively generate and manage leads to keep a healthy sales pipeline moving.
  • Drive traffic through networking, prospecting, call campaigns, open houses, and community events.
  • Guide prospects through the Havenpark Sales Matrix from first showing to a successful close.
  • Deliver an exceptional buying experience — every prospect, every time — in full compliance with Fair Housing Standards and Havenpark policies.
  • Manage sales agreements, including sales tax calculations, monthly payment plans, and credit checks.
  • Log all prospect and customer interactions in the CRM and provide consistent follow-through from inquiry to post-close.
  • Stay sharp on product knowledge, market trends, competitor activity, and community demographics.
  • Champion resident satisfaction and foster a genuine sense of community.
  • Follow up with new move-ins to ensure a smooth transition and generate referral opportunities.
  • Work with current renters to explore homeownership pathways.
  • Partner with your Community Manager and Sales Manager to shape and execute community sales and marketing plans.
  • Participate in weekly team rallies to align on strategy, share wins, and solve challenges together.
  • Manage multiple priorities with accuracy and a strong sense of follow-through.
