About The Position

APEX Wood Floors has an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Design Associate to join their growing team in the Mountain West Region! APEX Wood Floors is a company dedicated to providing top-of-the-line hardwood flooring solutions that are tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each and every customer. With years of experience in the industry, we have developed a reputation for excellence in craftsmanship, quality, and service. This is an exciting remote Sales and Design Associate opportunity in the Mountain West region. This full-time remote position offers flexibility and opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates live in the Mountain West region/Mountain Time Zone and be willing to travel within the Mountain West region for client and prospect visits and to our home location in Chicago, IL for quarterly on-site meetings.

Requirements

5+ years in a service-based industry
3+ years of experience in a sales or design role in a service-based industry
Experience with prospecting leads, relationship building, and a proven track record of sales and/or business development
Experience bidding on projects, preparing proposals, and presenting those to clients
A proactive, customer-centric mindset with a relationship focus
A self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Experience in the wood flooring or an adjacent service industry is a plus
CAD experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Prospecting, relationship building and business partner enhancements including but not limited to: Networking, including out of state events, lunch and learns, coffees, lunches and office visits; Keeping our CRM updated with activity, leads and client information; Bidding and putting proposals together for projects including CAD/project layouts and designs including new project site visits; Developing long-lasting customer relationships.
Other duties as assigned.
