About The Position

Affordable Home Furnishings is hiring a hands-on Sales and Customer Success Representative to help local families furnish their homes. The role combines customer service, sales, account management, deliveries, and problem-solving, with varied daily responsibilities and a path to advancement into store management for motivated team members. The position involves working both in the store and in the field and typically requires around 45 hours per week. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM; and Saturday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, with one weekday off and Sundays off.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Comfort working both inside the store and out in the field.

Responsibilities

Help customers find furniture, appliances, and electronics.
Build relationships with customers in-store, by phone, and in the community.
Manage customer accounts and payment collections, with daily heavy customer contact by phone and in person.
Assist with deliveries, pickups, and merchandise setup.
Assemble furniture and prepare merchandise for the showroom.
Clean and refurbish previously rented merchandise.
Maintain attractive showroom displays.
Help customers resolve issues and find solutions.
Load and unload merchandise.
Support daily store operations and team goals as directed by management.
