About The Position

Affordable Home Furnishings is hiring a Sales and Customer Success Representative for a hands-on role combining customer service, sales, account management, deliveries, and problem-solving. The position helps local families furnish their homes and offers a path to advancement into store management for motivated team members. The work includes time both inside the store and in the field. The schedule is typically around 45 hours per week: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM; and Saturday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, with one weekday off and Sundays off.

Ability to lift and move furniture and appliances.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Comfort working both inside the store and out in the field.

Responsibilities

Help customers choose furniture, appliances, and electronics.
Build relationships with customers in-store, by phone, and in the community.
Manage customer accounts and collect payments, involving frequent customer contact by phone and in person.
Assist with deliveries, pickups, and merchandise setup.
Assemble furniture and prepare merchandise for the showroom.
Clean and refurbish previously rented merchandise.
Maintain attractive showroom displays.
Help customers resolve issues and find solutions.
Load and unload merchandise.
Support daily store operations and team goals as directed by management.
