Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of the Catering Sales Department. Requirements

Professional and client-centric manner
Ability to create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and catering agreements
Ability to work closely with culinary and operations teams
Prompt response to client correspondence, phone, and email
Experience in proposal development for qualified leads
Experience in follow up to secure business
Experience in networking and lead generation activities
Ability to assist in preparation of end of month financial reports
Ability to attend in-service and/or meetings as required
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Ability to perform job safely

Responsibilities

Direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
Creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and catering agreements in appropriate system and submitting for client signature in accordance with venue deadlines.
Working closely with the culinary and operations team to develop menus.
Promptly respond to all client correspondence, phone, and email, including initial inquiry correspondence, proposal development for qualified leads, and all follow up as necessary to secure business.
Proactively engaging in networking and other lead generation activities.
Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.
Attend in-service and/or meetings as required.
Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
Performs other duties as assigned.
