About The Position

Mighty Auto Parts of Atlanta, a Mighty Distributing System of America (MDSA) company, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales & Account Representative to expand its automotive parts, chemicals, lubricants, and accessories business. This role focuses on developing new customer relationships and strengthening existing accounts within the Atlanta metropolitan area. The position combines business development, account management, territory growth, and customer support to help automotive service providers enhance their profitability, efficiency, and inventory management.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outside sales, business development, account management, or territory management experience.
  • Ability to lift and move products and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • High school graduate and equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive aftermarket, automotive service, fleet, dealership, or related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and sales visits.
  • Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase sales and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying customer needs and recommending solutions.
  • Support customer retention and growth through regular account reviews and business planning.
  • Monthly collection of Accounts Receivable.
  • Present and promote Mighty Auto Parts products, programs, and services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product usage and introduce new offerings.
  • Support customer events, promotions, and training initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in CRM systems.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory updates.
  • Manage accounts receivable.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and industry events.
  • Support and share best practices with fellow sales team members.
