About The Position

Are you ready to drive revenue growth and expand market presence for the leader in high-performance military GPS navigation? Trimble Military and Advanced Systems technology reaches over 70 global aviation and maritime platforms. We are looking for a strategic and tactical leader to manage our sales, customer accounts, and business development efforts. In this role, you will align TMAS business and growth with that of our customers, while ensuring effective and timely product delivery meeting revenue commitments in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This position requires an active U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive sales and business development experience within the defense or aerospace sectors.
  • Deep expertise in government contracting standards including ITAR, FARS, DFARS, and DCMA.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing high-value account portfolios.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships with major defense contractors or government procurement agencies.
  • Technical background or familiarity with GPS and navigation system integration.
  • Experience managing international military sales and foreign regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and groom key customer, government, and regulatory agency relationships.
  • Be the customer advocate
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products, market landscape, and competitive offerings to effectively articulate our value proposition.
  • Forecasting and pipeline planning: drive internal revenue and production planning to meet quarterly revenue targets, feeding 1- to 3-year plans.
  • Liaise closely with customers to align TMAS growth and product plans with customer program plans and roadmaps over multi-year horizons
  • Direct sales support: quotes, product enquiries, business development initiatives
  • Post-sales support: handle support calls, direct internal requests, assess service needs, manage unique special project enquiries
  • Review and negotiate purchase order (PO) and contract Terms & Conditions
  • Compliance (government and customer): Oversee registrations, reps and certs, quality surveys, sales and service compliance with rated orders, government authorizations, and ITAR/EAR
