About The Position

The Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting sales operations through data analysis, reporting, sales program tracking, and business insights. This role provides analytical support to leadership by monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating sales trends, preparing presentations, and maintaining sales tools and reporting systems. The Sales Analyst helps drive business decisions through accurate analysis and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales, sales operations, or analytical experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with sales reporting tools and business intelligence platforms preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales performance, trends, and market data to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc sales reports for leadership teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide insights on business performance.
  • Support forecasting and sales planning initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of key sales programs and initiatives.
  • Evaluate promotional activities and provide performance recaps.
  • Monitor program compliance and execution against established objectives.
  • Develop recommendations for improving program effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Support post-program analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and business review materials for leadership meetings.
  • Assist in supplier and customer business reviews through data gathering and analysis.
  • Create executive summaries highlighting trends, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Support cross-functional teams with analytical insights and reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain shelf space drawings and retail merchandising analyses.
  • Evaluate product placement and distribution opportunities.
  • Analyze category performance and retail execution metrics.
  • Support sales teams with visual merchandising insights and recommendations.
  • Provide support for sales tools and platforms including m360, VIP, ABA, and other reporting systems.
  • Assist users with troubleshooting and training on sales applications.
  • Maintain data quality and reporting accuracy within sales systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve system functionality and reporting capabilities.
