About The Position

The Career Agent position is an incoming & outbound sales calling position in which Agents call individuals who have requested information. Through intensive training, each Agent is taught a consultative selling process through which the Agent learns to assist each customer with the medical coverage that best fits their needs. Requirements

  • Ability to make phone dials, adhering to a call script.

  • Able to prioritize work, with exceptional time management and organizational skills.

  • Must be coachable, teachable, and flexible.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of related sales and/or industry experience.
  • State Health Agent License or the ability to pass the State Health Agent License exam within four weeks of employment.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Skilled in using Windows PC applications including strong keyboard and navigation skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours which may include nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Completion of annual carrier Certifications on time.
  • For Licensed Agents: Must successfully pass carrier background check(s)
  • Need release of contracts with Carriers within 30 days of New Hire start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling individual and/or insurance products via the telephone.
  • Experience working in a call center.

Responsibilities

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly required phone productivity metrics and sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Provide guidance as a trusted Sales Advisor while recommending the appropriate product.
  • Quote individuals on available health plan options and accurately explain the plan details and benefits.
  • Attend all company training sessions to remain current with product offerings
  • Ask all customers for referrals.
  • Adhere to all compliance guidelines, including, but not limited to, to the company’s HIPAA privacy and Business Ethics policies.
