As a Sales Advisor, you will work with your Management team to implement the ultimate Omnichannel shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they are given the highest level of service by living our Service Promise. You’ll be part of a team that has fun, supports each other and delivers results. You will do this by living and breathing our brand values in everything you do: Customer Obsessed, Play To Win, We Are One and It Starts With Me. You will inspire our customers to look good and express themselves with the latest fashion wherever and whenever they want. Requirements

  • Confident with people and passionate about talking to customers.
  • Good communication skills and ability to deliver a great customer experience showcasing personality.
  • Understanding of the core customer in the local market.
  • Passion for fashion and clothes, staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
  • Embrace change and demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Understanding of teamwork and ability to work together, demonstrating values and behaviors of a great team player.
  • Keen eye for detail in maintaining great store standards.
  • Must be a resident and have the correct employment status or permit for the relevant Crown Dependency.
  • Proof of right to work will be required.

  • Previous experience in retail is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire customers to look and feel good by delivering service techniques.
  • Create a fantastic customer experience and let personality and individual style shine through.
  • Assist customers in finding products online if they cannot find them in-store, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Understand local customers to drive sales, connect with the community, and support charity partners.
  • Support in delivering great standards in store and creating a visually exciting shopping experience.
  • Help create an inclusive environment that embraces everyone, values different people and opinions, and encourages fun.
  • Take a proactive approach to self-development to realize and fulfill personal potential.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver the Retail Strategy.
  • Recognize individual contribution to performance and Objective Key Results (KPIs).
  • Stay up-to-date with New Look offerings to recommend products and services authentically, driving store performance and brand awareness.
  • Be aware of store targets and show determination to exceed them.
  • Ensure the store environment is safe by following all Health and Safety procedures.
  • Help protect profit by maximizing sales, reducing loss, and controlling costs.
  • Fulfill responsibility to remain compliant with all Mandatory Training Modules.
  • Act as a Your Voice Representative, giving team members confidence to voice ideas and opinions, supporting engagement initiatives, and acting as an ambassador at meetings.
  • Challenge store management to influence change based on team feedback.
  • Role model company values and showcase a great example to customers and the team.
  • Serve as a Key Holder (subject to training) to support store opening/setup or pre-trade tasks in exceptional circumstances, ensuring H&S and security procedures are adhered to, and being responsible for the team, service levels, and stock in the absence of management.
  • Work with pride to deliver exceptional standards in a designated department and maintain operational excellence.
  • Utilize data and reporting to shape department performance.
  • Act as the go-to expert for a department, confidently recommending products to customers.
  • Support the delivery of VM and POS guidelines through great product handling and retail standards.
  • Execute window and mannequin styling according to guidance and support floor moves in line with trade activity.
  • Keep up-to-date with current trends, competitor features, and influencer promotions.
