About The Position

Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a ME / CI Specialist. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year in a Continuous Improvement or Manufacturing Engineering role

Nice To Haves

• Experience or coursework in Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts (IoT, smart sensors, data analytics, automation).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CI leaders to identify, scope, and execute improvement projects aligned with the Eaton Business System (EBS).
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Actively participate in Kaizen events and CI workshops to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.
• Develop and update standard work documentation and visual management tools.
• Deploy Lean methodologies such as 5S, value stream mapping, and TPM to drive sustainable improvements.
• Support Industry 4.0 initiatives, including IoT integration, predictive maintenance, and digital dashboard development.
• Assist in implementing Eaton-approved smart manufacturing technologies for real-time performance monitoring.
• Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes to leadership.
