About The Position

The Sales Administrator implements the plans and policies of the sales department, provides team assistance in field-sales rep management and contract compliance, and manages, organizes, and controls operations of assigned tasks. Sauder Manufacturing, founded in 1945, has a rich history in crafting solid wood furniture and now blends this with modern technology and a strong customer focus. The company sells in four strategic markets: Healthcare Furniture for Acute Care Hospitals, Education Furniture for colleges and universities, Worship furniture for churches, synagogues, courthouses, and furniture for human services markets. Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Proficient PC skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with telephone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to function within a team concept and demonstrate positive and cooperative behavior with customers and co-workers.
  • Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively provide high-level customer service to a large volume of work in a timely and high-quality manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to sales management and staff, including sales reports and sales rep support.
  • Manage term contracts, including new contracts, reporting, and sending out new price lists.
  • Ensure all required sales data and subsequent payments are reported in a timely manner for contract reporting compliances.
  • Manage all aspects of the RepLink sales resources site, including reports, newsletters, staff photos, and other requests from Education or Marketing Staff.
  • Assist in and manage the completion of bids.
  • Assist with planning and executing the National Sales Meeting.
  • Support customer service functions and assist the Customer Service team.
  • Undertake special projects as requested by the National Sales Manager and Customer Service Manager.
